Rachel Black, a patient

Yesenia Iglesias (Rachel’s actor) is a native of Puerto Rico and an MFA alumna of the UW Professional Actor Training Program. Recent productions include Is She Dead Yet? and Bunnies at Annex Theatre, and Mwindo at Seattle Children’s Theatre.

Corrie Befort (Rachel’s dancer) is an internationally commissioned choreographer, theatrical designer, and creator of award-winning dance films and collaborative performance works. Companies she co-directs include Salt Horse, LIMITS and Color Field, and she teaches dance filmmaking at Cornish College.

Madeleine Bersamina (Rachel’s singer) is a soprano soloist who has worked with Early Music Undgerground, Tuscon Chamber Artists, Junges Stuttgarter Bach Ensemble and the Oregon Bach Festival. An avid recitalist, she has been a featured singer in recital series in California, Washington and Germany.

Lisa Webster, MD, a palliative care physician

Sunam Ellis (Lisa’s actorhas appeared in Twelfth Night (Malvolia), Pentecost (Yasmin) and 5th of July (Gwen Landis) at UW where she earned her MFA. Most recently she was seen in Sound Theatre Company’s    …and Jesus Moonwalks the Mississippi.

Greg Yarman, PhD, a neuroscientist

Jonathan Shue (Greg’s actor) is an actor and musician originally from Palo Alto, California, who has performed in award-winning regional and children’s theatre nationally and internationally. He recently earned his MFA from the UW Professional Actor Training Program.

Coleman Pester (Greg’s dancer) has built a diverse body of work over the past five years. He founded the multi-disciplinary, collaborative project Tectonic Marrow Society (www.tectonicmarrowsociety.com), and has premiered dance works in Seattle, Australia, Israel, New York and San Francisco.
